A teacher flung a Class 5 student from the first floor in a school in Delhi’s Karol Bagh today.
The child, Vandana, is in hospital and said to be in a critical state.
The teacher, Gita, has been arrested.
Witnesses have told the police that incidents of teachers thrashing students at Balika Vidyalaya are not uncommon.
Gita allegedly hit Vandana before throwing her off the balcony.
