Bollywood seems to be reeling under fear these days. After Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan too, has been issued a new death threat, a source close to a cop confirmed to TOI. It is not yet clear who has taken the responsibility of the threat, but it was issued over a call, and a case has been registered in Bandra Police Station, Mumbai. According to the source, a man named Faizan had made the threat call. He belongs to Raipur, Chhattisgarh. More details on the same are awaited.
In October 2023, Shah Rukh was provided Y+ security, after the success of his movies ‘Pathaan’ and ‘Jawan’, which reportedly led to threatening calls and messages.
While on SRK, he recently celebrated his birthday with his fans at a special event in the city. During the chat, the actor opened up about various aspects of his life, movies, and even his kids Aryan, Suhana and AbRam.
In a newly surfaced clip from the fun interaction, Khan also gave a warm shoutout to director Rahul Dholakia and his upcoming film ‘Agni’. Addressing the crowd about a book he received from the director, Shah Rukh shared, “I was presented a lovely book by my friend Rahul Dholakia, whose new film is coming, ‘Agni’. He gave me an Al Pacino biography. I like Al Pacino a lot.”
Dholakia, thrilled by the mention, shared the video clip on social media, expressing his gratitude to SRK for the kind gesture. In a tweet, he wrote, “Awww!!! Thank you sooo much for mentioning #Agni!! You are soo kind and generous @iamsrk.”
Dholakia previously directed ‘Raees’ (2017), which starred Shah Rukh in a leading role. Khan’s endorsement has sparked excitement among fans, who are eagerly awaiting news on the film which wrapped filming back in 2022.
The project backed by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, stars Divyenndu Sharma, Pratik Gandhi, Saiyami Kher and Saie Tamhankar in lead roles. According to reports, the film celebrates and explores the lives of firefighters.
