‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ box office: The Kartik Aaryan starrer mints US $ 4 million in North America | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


After a string of not so successful films in the recent past, Kartik Aaryan who returned to the horror comedy genre struck gold with the third installment of his Bhool Bhulaiyaa series. The film is minting money not only at the Indian box office but also in the North American belt which is considered to be the biggest market for Indian films outside of India. It saw Kartik Aaryan return as Rooh Baba- a loving but a fake ghostbuster who uses his charm to con innocent people.

Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 has minted Rs 212 crore in India till now and has crossed the US $ 4 million mark in North American circuit. The North American (USA + Canada) collection currently stands at US $ 4.04 million (Rs 34 crore). The film released on the occasion of Diwali and clashed with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again. Both are big franchises and it was expected that between the two, one of them would be a major money spinner but both of them have been drawing audiences in similar numbers.

With the success of the third installment, talks have already begun for the fourth part and it is being rumored that Akshay Kumar would be coming back for this one. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 saw the return of OG Manjulika Vidya Balan to the fold and it would be interesting if she will be part of the next one as well. The film also featured Madhuri Dixit-Nene and Triptii Dimri in pivotal roles.
