‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ box office collection Day 3: Kartik Aaryan scores his first Rs 100 crore opening weekend | – Times of India

The Kartik Aaryan starrer ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3‘ has made box office history by crossing the Rs 100 crore mark in its opening weekend, marking the biggest debut of the actor’s career. What makes hitting this milestone even more impressive, is that the film managed to hit the mark, despite a head-to-head clash with Ajay Devgn‘s ‘Singham Again‘.
Released during the extended Diwali weekend, the film managed to hold its own, setting a new record for Aaryan as it soared past expectations. ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ opened with an impressive Rs 35.5 crore collection on Friday, followed by a minor boost on Saturday, netting Rs 37 crore. Despite a slight dip of 10%-15% in collections, Sunday brought in an estimated Rs 33.5 crore. This brings the film’s three-day nett total to an estimated Rs 106 crore.
The film is now third on the list of Kartik’s highest-earning films of all time, only behind ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’, which earned an estimated Rs 108.95 crore and ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2’, which holds the top spot with a collection of Rs 184.32 crore. The movie also made a splash at the North American box office, earning an estimated $2 million on its opening weekend. This collection put the film on the 10th spot on the list of highest-earning films of the weekend.
Directed by Anees Bazmee and featuring a star-studded cast including Vidya Balan, Madhuri Dixit, Triptii Dimri, and Rajpal Yadav, ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’ has been receiving mixed reviews from audiences. The film scored big on advance bookings for the holiday weekend.

Monday’s collections will play a deciding factor on how well the movie will perform at the box office in its lifetime run. It will have two weeks to rake in the big bucks before it faces some more competition from the Hollywood releases ‘Wicked’ and ‘Gladiator 2’ which release later this month.
