The festive season is not yet over for celebrity couple KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty, as they are ready to embrace parenthood. Taking to their social media handle India batter KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty announced their first pregnancy with their baby to arrive in 2025.
“Our beautiful blessing is coming soon. 2025,” shared the elated soon-to-be parents KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty.

Their pregnancy announcement has sent a wave of joy, with friends, family, and fans pouring in with sweet and beautiful congratulatory messages and blessings for the parents-to-be. Sonakshi Sinha is among the first Bollywood stars to react to the post. She has commented, “Omg omg omg sooooo happy ❤️❤️❤️”. Another sweet comment came from ‘Singham Again’ star Arjun Kapoor, who wrote – “Dumpling coming thru 🙌🙌🙌❤️❤️❤️.” Further, another well-known face of the glam world Shibani Akhtar penned – “Congratulations my darling so happy for you both ❤️.” Many others including Athiya’s brother Ahan Shetty, ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi 14’ fame Krishna Shroff shared emoticons to express their happiness.
KL Rahul and Athiya Shetty had a beautiful dreamy wedding in January 2023. Their love story is nothing short of a fairytale romance, where both the stars balance their high-profile careers while keeping their private lives under wraps. The pictures from their wedding painted the whole town red and to date they are loved by netizens all around. Sharing the same on her social media handle Athiya wrote – “In your light, I learn how to love…” Today, with our most loved ones, we got married in the home that’s given us immense joy and serenity. With a heart full of gratitude and love, we seek your blessings on this journey of togetherness. (sic).”

Now as the couple is close to their second wedding anniversary, they have a twice the reason to celebrate.
