Bollywood actor Arjun Kapoor who is currently enjoying the success of ‘Singham Again’ recently revealed that is a huge fan of actor Akshay Kumar and also said that he has a poster of the classic hit ‘Rang De Basanti’ in his vanity van.
Talking to Pinkvilla, the ‘Singham Again’ actor said that he admired Akshay Kumar’s character Raju in the comedy flick ‘Hera Pheri’ which hit the big screens in the year 2000 and was directed by Priyadarshan.

Mentioning that ‘Hera Pheri’ is the biggest memory of Akshay Kumar he has, Arjun Kapoor called the character Raju an iconic one. He also said that he is also a huge fan of Suniel Shetty who also played one of the leads in the Priyadarshan’s directorial.
Arjun Kapoor also recalled the iconic scene where the trio Raju, Ghanshyam and Baburao are standing and when Tabu’s character enters, Akshay Kumar passes a funny yet natural dialogue saying, “Pick it up..pick it up..”
The actor also admitted that he watched ‘Hera Pheri’ multiple times. “I even damaged the DVD’s of the film. I have watched it many times,” said ‘The Lady Killer’ actor.
Arjun Kapoor also opened up about Aamir Khan’s iconic classic film ‘Rang De Basanti’ and said that the movie had inspired him while growing up. The actor also has put up the posters of Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s directorial in his vanity van.
On the other hand, Arjun Kapoor is getting praises for his portrayal of a villain in Rohit Shetty’s recently released action flick ‘Singham Again’ starring Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor and many others in the lead.
