The sequel of the Allu Arjun starrer which is riding high on the popularity charts, will likely now enjoy a solo release on December 5, as word doing the rounds indicates that the makers backing the historical drama starring Vicky Kaushal in the lead, are allegedly planning to pick a new release date to avoid a clash.

An official announcement on the revised release date for ‘Chhaava’ is expected soon.

This move comes on the heels of the recent box office clash between Ajay Devgn‘s ‘Singham Again’ and Kartik Aaryan‘s ‘Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3’. The films made history at the Indian box office, scoring a Rs 200 crore debut weekend. Interestingly, both films crossed the Rs 100 crore mark on the Diwali weekend.
‘Chhaava’, a historical film based on the novel by Shivaji Sawant, features Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj, son of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and Rashmika Mandanna playing the role of Sambhaji’s wife, Yesubai.

Meanwhile, ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ sees Allu Arjun returning as Pushpa Raj, a coolie who rises to power in a smuggling syndicate.
