Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 sells over 2500 tickets in United Kingdom | Telugu Movie News – Times of India

Post the release of SS Rajamouli, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati’s Baahubali series, the world has opened its doors for Telugu cinema, especially the United States of America, where it has become the 11th most spoken language. On the other hand, the United Kingdom has mostly been dominated by Tamil Cinema with Thalapathy Vijay films leading from the front. His film Leo: Bloody Sweet still holds the record for selling over 10000 tickets in 24 hours, highest for any Indian film in the UK.

However, it seems Telugu Cinema has now begun to make inroads in the United Kingdom and Ireland as well, with their latest offering Allu Arjun and Sukumar’s Pushpa 2- The Rule. Unlike the USA, the advance booking for the film has begun recently in the UK and it has already crossed over 2500 tickets collecting over US $ 26,202 ( Rs 22.08 lakh) as per Star South-Overseas.
Pushpa 2- The Rule is getting the widest release in the country, its advance booking has currently opened in 100 locations, and as the release date comes closer, more screens and more locations will be made available.
Pushpa 2 is all set to release on 5th December, and features Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil , Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj. The film was clashing with Vicky Kaushal, Laxman Utekar and Dinesh Vijan’s Chhaava on 6th December, but reports now suggest that Pushpa 2 will be getting a solo release.
