Allu Arjun and Rashmika Madanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2’ has been breaking all the box office records and winning hearts. However, the film also got associated with an extremely unfortunate tragedy. During the film’s premiere on December 4, a stampede situation occured at the Sandhya theatre in Hyderabad. A 39-year old woman died while her son was injured in this.
On Friday, the police arrested Allu Arjun in this matter and it was reported that he will be kept in custody for 14 days. The Hyderabad police arrested Arjun from his house. Amidst his arrest, his co-star Rashmika Mandanna has now reacted to this. She is completely appalled as she wrote, “I can’t believe what I am seeing right now.. The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening incident. However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking.”
The husband of the victim who had filed a case against Allu Arjun spoke to the media and said that he is ready to withdraw the case. He said, “Allu Arjun has nothing to do with the stampede in which my wife passed away. I am ready to withdraw the case. I was not aware of the arrest.”
Meanwhile, as the star gets arrested, fans have come out in his support. A letter written by Sandhya theatre to the Hyderabad police to provide security for this event on December 4, has now gone viral.
The actor has now been granted an interim bail now.
