Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya were spotted back in Mumbai after attending a star-studded award function in Abu Dhabi. The mother-daughter duo made headlines, not just for their stunning appearances, but also for Aishwarya’s witty response when a reporter brought up Aaradhya during an interview.

At the event, Aishwarya spoke candidly about motherhood. When asked what advice she had for mothers raising daughters, she said, “You are a mother, you know best. We are all human beings, and there’s no rule book we are born with. So you are incredible, you do you.”
When a reporter mentioned that Aaradhya is always by her side, Aishwarya cut in with a laugh, saying, “Whoa! She’s my daughter, she’s always with me,” making it clear that Aaradhya is never far from her side.

During the show, Aishwarya also reflected on her bond with filmmaker Mani Ratnam, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to play Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan. She spoke of her long association with him, dating back to her 1997 debut in his film Iruvar, saying, “I was so honored that he asked me to be his Nandini in Ponniyin Selvan.”
