Navi Mumbai: The crime branch team conducting parallel probe in the incident of firing on RTI activist Amit Maurya (40) and his builder friend Sandeep Gavas (44) has got a vital lead on the shooter whose location has been traced to Mumbai. But he is untraceable, as his mobile is switched off.A police source stated that some suspects have been detained for inquiry for their involvement in the theft of the bike used in the crime by the shooter. They will be inquired to ascertain their link with the shooter and whether it was a contract killing.
