Directed by Jijo Antony, the Sunny Wayne and Shine Tom Chacko starrer ‘Adithattu’ is finally gearing up for the OTT release after a long gap since its theatrical release.
According to the OTT play reports, ‘Adithattu’ will start streaming on Amazon Prime Video and the action thriller will be available on OTT within a few days, probably by the first week of November.
Adithattu – Official Teaser
Reportedly, the OTT release for the Sunny Wayne starrer was delayed as it didn’t get as many collections as expected even though the movie had received good reviews from the audiences. The poor theatrical run has reportedly affected the makers in arriving at a good OTT deal.
‘Adithattu’ revolves around the story of Ambrose and his group of fishermen. Issues start to happen when Ambrose is haunted by the death of their former captain Stalin. The movie promises unique sea action fight sequences.
Shine Tom Chacko played the character Ambrose, whereas Sunny Wayne stepped into the role of Marcos, another important character in this action thriller.
ETimes rated the movie 2.5 out of 5. Our review read, “Shine Tom shows that not only can he move his hips and play a rich, spoilt brat, like his turn in Bheeshma Parvam, but he can also get the essence of a fisherman spot on. His body and body language are totally tuned into the role and he largely carries the film. The other actors, including Sunny Wayne and Alexander Prashanth, are okay in their roles. Adithattu definitely has a different treatment and if slow, brooding violence rocks your boat – pun intended – you might like the experience. But be aware that it has an ‘A’ certification, probably for the language and a bit of gory violence.”
