Atul Parchure’s untimely demise on Monday (October 14) has left fans and movie lovers in shock. Known for his comic roles in both Marathi and Bollywood cinema, fans are flooding social media with heartfelt condolences. Many could not control their emotions while sharing some of his iconic roles on social media.
The actor passed away at the age of 57 after battling cancer for years, reportedly experiencing a relapse while working on the stage show ‘Suryachi Pille’.Shortly after the news broke, it made headlines.
One fan took to X and shared a clip of Parchure’s funny role from the Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Khatta Meetha‘ (2010). The fan wrote, “Om Shanti 💐 #AtulParchure, you made our childhood so hilarious! ❤️”

Some fans also recalled his memorable role as an aspiring actor in the Shah Rukh Khan and Irrfan Khan starrer ‘Billu‘. They shared a clip where Parchure portrayed a police officer on the set of a film, with Shah Rukh Khan instructing him as he struggles to get his lines right.

According to a report in India Today, family sources confirmed his passing. Parchure is survived by his mother, wife, and daughter, who have requested privacy during this difficult time.
