The absence of Abhishek Bachchan from Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s cousin’s birthday celebration raised a lot of eyebrows. While many expected to see the beloved couple at the family gathering, Abhishek was notably missing, prompting a wave of speculation about his whereabouts.
However, before anyone jumps the gun, a source close to the actor confirmed that Abhishek Bachchan is in Bhopal to take care of his maternal grandmother, Indira Bhaduri, who has been unwell for the past few days.Owing to the same, she was under medical supervision. Today reports surfaced that Indira Bhaduri suffered a spinal fracture, following which she was hospitalised. As her condition worsened, worried Abhishek Bachchan took a late-night flight to visit his grandmother and take care of her.
According to the India Today report, Indira Bhaduri’s caretaker gave an update on her health condition. She mentioned, “She [Indira Bhaduri] is fine. She has a minor fracture in her spine, which is why she is in the hospital. She is eating and drinking and also talking.”
As the news broke out, internet users and the Bachchan and Bhaduri family fans have flooded the social media with get-well-soon wishes. The netizens are praying for Indira Bhaduri’s speedy recovery and at the same time are appreciating Abhishek’s gesture as a grandson. He didn’t think about anything, no festivity, no function, and rushed to see his grandmother.
Details regarding the hospital have been withheld. However, from the caretaker’s statement, it appears that Indira Bhaduri is recovering at a good pace.
