Pune: The Nigdi police on Monday arrested an ayurveda practitioner attached to a private hospital in Chinchwad for allegedly molesting a 37-year-old female patient.The incident occurred in the early hours of Sunday while the woman was recovering in a hospital ward after undergoing surgery. “The accused entered the ward on the pretext of conducting a medical check-up and allegedly molested her,” an officer from the Nigdi police said.The patient informed her relatives about the incident, following which they approached the Nigdi police and lodged a complaint. “We have registered a case and arrested the accused,” he said.
