PUNE: Abhijeet Dipke founder of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) on Monday announced that the party will hold a protest in Pune on June 11, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in examinations and recruitment tests.Dipke made the announcement on X, posting: “Let’s meet in Pune! Hail Maharashtra!”In another post shared by the CJP’s official handle, the party said: “Cockroaches will demand Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation in Maharashtra’s educational capital Pune. How many Pune cockroaches will join?”Reacting to comparisons with recent youth-led protests in Nepal and Bangladesh, Dipke said on Sunday that the CJP’s movement is peaceful and should not be equated with demonstrations in neighbouring countries. He added that the organisation is meant exclusively for Gen Z and has no links with any political party.Earlier, the CJP had also staged a protest at Jantar Mantar in New Delhi on June 6, seeking the resignation of Pradhan over alleged paper leak and examination irregularities in the country.
