MUMBAI: To decongest streets of Worli, traffic police have issued certain parking restrictions.“GM Bhosle Road is an important road connecting PK Kurne Chowk to Acharya Atre Chowk (Worli Naka). This road is two-way and there is a large amount of vehicular traffic and pedestrian movement on this road.Due to increase in traffic movement on this road, parking of vehicles is causing congestion. Despite repeated warnings to the drivers and vehicle owners, vehicles are being parked on the main road in large numbers,” said a statement released by the traffic police.In order to regulate traffic on this road and control the disorderly parking, the following parking notification will remain in effect from May 7 to Aug 4:
- Parking will be prohibited on GM Bhosle Marg (south bound and north bound) for taxis, commercial four-wheeler vehicles and heavy vehicles.
- Parking will be prohibited on GM Bhosle Marg (south bound) on even dates for two-wheelers and private four-wheelers.
- Parking will be prohibited on GM Bhosle Marg (north bound) on odd dates for two-wheelers and private four-wheelers.
