Pune: The three-year-old girl from Nasrapur died of asphyxia, the Pune Rural police said.Pune superintendent of police Sandeep Singh Gill on Monday told TOI, “We have received the post-mortem report. The arrested accused, Bhimrao Kamble, had gagged her by putting a cloth in her mouth.“He said, “The deceased girl also had injuries on her head. It is suspected that she suffered these injuries during the sexual assault in the cowshed,” Gill said.Kamble allegedly took the girl to a cowshed in Nasrapur village, off Pune–Satara road on Friday, where he sexually assaulted and killed her.
