PUNE/MUMBAI: The CBSE Std X results declared on Wednesday saw a marginal rise in the national pass percentage to 93.7%, but it was the strong performance of the Pune region and a shift toward application-based testing that defined this year’s results.Girls outshone boys once again recording a pass percentage of 95% against 92.7% for boys. Transgender students recorded a pass rate of 87.5%.Schools in Pune reported strong performances with several institutions recording high scorers and 100% pass rates. Many schools saw a large share of students crossing the 90% mark, reflecting consistent academic performance across campuses.At Akshara International School, over 75% students scored above 90%. Ridhima Bhagwati topped with 98%, securing full marks in science, social science and Hindi.The Orbis Schools recorded a 100% pass rate across both campuses. At Keshavnagar, Shivansh Singh topped with 98.6%, while Jaivik Mota led the Mundhwa campus with 98.2%. “My heart swells with pride… it is about dedication and discipline,” said director principal Gunjan Srivastava.Farida Harianawala, principal of Keshavnagar branch, said the collective hard work of the students and teachers yielded positive results.Elpro International School reported 56.4% students scoring above 90%. Murtaza Ravat topped with 99.8%, followed by Neehar Lohade with 99.4% and Rishabh Korlahalli with 99.2%. “These results reflect perseverance and a strong academic foundation,” director principal Amrita Vohra said.At Jnana Prabodhini Prashala, all 80 students passed, with a school average of 90.5%. Atharva Bhibhade topped with 98%.Ryan International Academy, Bavdhan, reported a 100% pass rate. Ritika Ravi Reosekar topped with 96.8%, followed by Advik Tiwari with 96.6% and MaitreyeeAsnikar 95.2%. “Success comes from managing both effort and emotions effectively,” principal Ruchi Masih said.The fist batch at Helios International School in Wadgaon Budruk reported a 100% pass rate. Saragandla Anjali topped with 96.8%, followed by Yug Bora with 95.8%. Principal Divya Puri said, “Every student’s success is because of effort and structured guidance.”SNBP International School in Rahatani reported 100% results with six students scoring above 98%. Arjun Mahamulkar topped with 98.8%, followed by Arihant Patil with 98.4% and Aditya Jain with 98.2%. Principal Jayashree Venkatraman said, “Students found the maths paper a little tricky but performed well.”Sanskriti Group of Schools reported 100% results across its campuses. AabhaBhokse topped with 98.6%, followed by Rudra Chaudhari (98.4%) and several other students at 98.2%. The school’s founder Devyani Mungali said, “Students perform best when teachers and parents work in synergy.”All students from The Kalyani School passed. Aryan Godani and Romil Kulkarni jointly topped with 98.6%, followed by Rupsha Bhattacharyya with 98.4% and J R Saai Kritik with 97.6%.
