Pune: A 28-year-old man from Junnar and his wife are feared to have drowned in the Kukadi left canal at Kalwadi village, around 80km from Pune, on Monday evening. Police said the couple had come with their son, who alerted villagers after they fell in. Their slippers were found on the bank. Rescue teams searched till late evening and resumed efforts Tuesday, but they remain untraced. TNN
