His 65-year-old father lodged a complaint with the police later in the day.Senior inspector Bhausaheb Patil of the Wanowrie police said, “The man with the pet dogs and the complainant’s son are neighbours. Their bungalows are adjacent to each other, and they have known each other well for the past few years.”“The injured man and his father are redeveloping their bungalow. They claimed that the neighbour has been parking his car in front of their house. The complainant requested him to park it elsewhere as it was causing inconvenience to vehicles transporting cement and other construction material,” Patil said.“On Sunday afternoon, an argument broke out between the complainant’s son and the neighbour over the parking issue. The complaint claims that the latter opened the compound gate of his bungalow, after which the dogs allegedly charged at the complainant’s son,” the officer added.
