Mumbai: A 57-year-old man was arrested by the Dadar Police for stealing money from the Siddhivinayak Temple at Prabhadevi. An FIR was registered after a temple employee lodged a complaint.Police said the incident occurred on Friday in the pujari room of the temple. The accused, Rajendra Pendurkar, allegedly stole money from two donation boxes and pocketed it. Later when the temple management checked CCTV footage of the last 10 days, they noticed that more than Rs 10,000 in cash had been stolen. Police said Pendurkar is a labourer and lived at Ambedkar Nagar in Dadar.
