Pune: Vishrantwadi police have arrested a 19-year-old youth for allegedly setting ablaze six two-wheelers parked in the parking area of a residential building on Dhanori Road around 4 am on Friday, following a dispute with a resident of the society. Vishrantwadi police’s senior inspector Mangesh Hande said, “We have arrested Vishal Khalase (19) of Dhanori after examining CCTV footage from the area. The complainant, Rakesh Vishwakarma (26), identified him. Khalase is unemployed.”Hande said, “Khalase entered the premises of Priyansh Apartments and set Vishwakarma’s motorcycle on fire. However, the fire quickly spread in the parking area and engulfed five other motorcycles. Due to the fire, cables and electric meters were damaged, and the building lost power supply on Friday.”
