Naga Chaitanya, who got married to Sobhita Dhulipala earlier this month in a traditional wedding ceremony, recently spoke about their dating phase. He also revealed how he flew to Mumbai just to spend a few precious hours with Sobhita.
In an interview with The New York Times, Naga Chaitanya shared details about his early days of dating Sobhita Dhulipala. He mentioned that they initially connected through Instagram and soon after, he flew to Mumbai for a lunch date with her at Pali Village Cafe. Despite living in different cities, with Sobhita in Mumbai and Naga in Hyderabad, he was eager to spend time with her and made the effort to travel for their meet-ups.
Chaitanya revealed that he’s not particularly fond of texting or communicating through social media. Instead, he preferred having a more personal, heart-to-heart conversation with Sobhita.
In the same interview, Naga Chaitanya opened up about his intimate wedding and love story with Sobhita Dhulipala. The couple first met briefly at Nagarjuna‘s house in 2018. Their connection grew in April 2022, a year after Chaitanya’s first marriage to Samantha Ruth Prabhu ended.
Sobhita Dhulipala shared that their bond began when she followed Naga Chaitanya on Instagram in April 2022. The very next day, she replied to one of his stories about a sushi dish. They connected further over their shared Telugu language, with Chaitanya appreciating Sobhita’s fluency and the actress admiring how he kept liking her posts. Chaitanya expressed that he enjoyed their conversations in Telugu and wanted her to continue speaking in the language.
