Allu Arjun’s Pushpa 2 – The Rule has set the box office ablaze, smashing records with unprecedented collections. The film has already dethroned Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan as the highest-grossing Hindi film in its first week, and is now waiting to break an 8 year old record.
Allu Arjun Is Alpha Man Max: Rashmika Mandanna EXCLUSIVE On Pushpa 2’s Massive Success
The Sukumar-directed blockbuster has amassed Rs 498 crore from its Hindi version alone, while its total collection at the end of the 10th day was Rs 824.5 crore. With its continued dominance, Pushpa 2 is now poised to break the long-standing Hindi box office record held by Prabhas and SS Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion, which collected Rs 511 crore and was the first film from South India to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in Hindi.
Pushpa 2 is now eyeing the top spot in Indian cinema’s all-time highest-grossing films, it has already reached the third spot displacing Ram Charan and NTR Jr’s RRR (Rs 782 crore). The top two spots are being held by Yash’s KGF 2 (Rs 860 crore), and Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion (Rs 1030 crore).
Starring Allu Arjun alongside Rashmika Mandanna, Fahadh Faasil, and Jagapathi Babu, Pushpa 2 continues its record-breaking spree. The makers have already announced a third installment titled Pushpa 3 – The Rampage, promising even more action and drama.
Trade analysts believe that the next Hindi film capable of challenging Pushpa 2’s box office supremacy is Aditya Chopra and Ayan Mukerji’s War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan, NTR Jr, and Kiara Advani. With its strong appeal across Hindi and South Indian markets, War 2 is expected to be a formidable contender in the near future.
