Michele Morrone has found himself tangled in link-up rumours with his pregnant co-star Megan Fox. The hunk has been rumoured to have had a secret affair with the beauty following the resurfacing of a flirty video from their time on the set of the thriller ‘Subservience’. The rumours of the possible affair gained traction amid reports of Fox’s split from her fiance, Machine Gun Kelly (MGK).
However, the ‘365 Days’ hunk is now stepping up to clear the air and address the rumours. “Any accusations beyond a work friendship are simply untrue,” a representative for the Italian actor told TMZ. “They filmed a movie together a year ago. Michele is currently in Italy filming another project.”
Speaking to Page Six, another said, Morrone and Fox are not “romantically involved” and that the viral video in question was from over a year ago. The clip in question showed Fox leaning on Morrone and smiling as she humorously coached him on pronouncing “SpongeBob”. The duo exchanged smiles and engaged in playful banter, leading many to express their shock over their crackling chemistry.
One fan tweeted, “Honestly if Megan Fox dumped MGK for this fine man, I would not blame her at all!”
The timing of the video’s resurgence coincided with reports of Fox and MGK’s separation during Thanksgiving weekend. According to TMZ, Fox left their getaway early after allegedly discovering something upsetting on MGK’s phone.
The split came just weeks after Fox announced her pregnancy, sharing photos of her cradling her baby bump and a positive pregnancy test. She is reportedly five months pregnant, with a due date in March 2025.
Fox also shares three children—Noah, Bodhi, and Journey —with her ex-husband, Brian Austin Green. MGK has a 15-year-old daughter, Casie, with his ex Emma Cannon.
