Sivakartikeyan’s Amaran has a better second Tuesday than Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 | Hindi Movie News – Times of India


This Diwali, Hindi Cinema was undergoing a major clash, as two huge franchises Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again and Kartik Aaryan- Vidya Balan’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 were releasing on the same day. But in this mega battle, a small Tamil film has been enjoying a fantastic run at the ticket counter, and has been minting more money than both these mega budget films.

Singham Again made Rs 173 crore in its first week, and over its second weekend, it added another Rs 33.75 crore. But on Monday, its collection dropped to Rs 4.25 crore, and Tuesday stood at Rs 3.5 crore. Bhool Bhuliayaa 3 made Rs 158.25 crore in the first week, and over the second weekend added Rs 40.75 crore, and on Monday, its collection dropped to Rs 5 crore and Tuesday stayed at Rs 4.25 crore.
Now take Sivakartikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s Amaran, on its 8th day, the film earned Rs 114.75 crore, and over the second weekend, it added another Rs 38.9 crore, and on Monday, it collected Rs 5.7 crore and on Tuesday it minted Rs 5 crore. Though the Tamil film failed to mint more than the Hindi films over the weekend , but during the week it has beaten both the films by a competent number.
Amaran is based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan and is directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, and backed by Kamal Haasan’s production house.
