‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’, starring Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna, is one of the year’s most anticipated films. The sequel to Pushpa: The Rise has garnered attention for a special song, potentially similar to the hit item number ‘Oo Antava.’ Initially rumoured to feature Shraddha Kapoor, reports now suggest that actress Sreeleela will perform in the track.
Shraddha was reportedly not cast opposite Allu Arjun in Pushpa 2 due to a fee disagreement, with the actress seeking the same amount Samantha earned for ‘Oo Antava.’ While there were rumours about Samantha joining the project, no confirmation came. Recently, a behind-the-scenes photo of Allu Arjun and Sreeleela has surfaced, sparking fan excitement, though some still wish Shraddha was part of the film.
Following the news about Sreeleela being cast in Pushpa 2, some fans expressed disappointment over Shraddha Kapoor’s absence, with some Reddit users noting that Shraddha’s looks would have made her a strong match for Allu Arjun. Others voiced their sadness, missing her presence in the project. While one user wrote, ‘Aise looks mein Shraddha kill kar deti’, another one added, ‘So no shraddha’.
Pushpa 2: The Rule is all set to arrive in theatres on December 5.
