Is Imran Khan planning to make a comeback with ‘Break Ke Baad’ creator Danish Aslam? Here’s what we know | Hindi Movie News – Times of India

‘Break Ke Baad’, starring Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone, remains a fan-favourite rom-com. Amid growing buzz about Imran Khan’s comeback, the film’s director, Danish Aslam, recently confirmed in an interview that he and his close friend Imran are working on a new project together.
During his conversation with India Today Digital, Danish Aslam shared that he couldn’t share too many details at this stage. He acknowledged the media speculation surrounding the project, saying that while some of the rumours were accurate, others were not.
Aslam described the project as still being a work in progress and assured that once everything is finalized, they would be happy to announce it publicly. He confirmed that he and Imran are indeed working on something together.
During the same interview, Danish reflected on his directorial debut, ‘Break Ke Baad’, while discussing romantic comedies. Although the 2010 film, starring Imran Khan and Deepika Padukone, wasn’t a box-office hit at the time, it has since gained appreciation from audiences.
In talking about the revival of the rom-com genre, Aslam confirmed his upcoming project with Imran Khan. Their close friendship and conversations led Aslam to recognize the growing demand for classic romantic comedies, inspiring their new collaboration.
Meanwhile, the filmmaker’s much-awaited project, ‘Khwaabon Ka Jhamela’, starring Sayani Gupta and Prateik Babbar got released today, November 8. The film is available for streaming on the OTT platform.
