‘Every Day Magical’: Samantha Ruth Prabhu Can’t Stop Raving About Varun Dhawan | Citadel Honey Bunny
Now in an exclusive interview with ETimes, Samantha shared that Varun Dhawan helped her out a lot during the shoot of the film. The past few years have been very difficult for the southern sensation as her marriage with Naga Chaitanya broke down, and then, she was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease called Myositis. At one point, she was even recommending other names to Raj and DK, as her replacement but they didnt budge.
Talking about the support she got from Varun, Samantha said ” I don’t think any other co-star would have been as patient as he was. He was too easy to work with, and there was not even a single time or a day when I thought how am I going to do this scene. I knew I was with the right team.”
Samantha also added, “During the shoot of Citadel, at the end of everyday, there was this huge sense of fulfillment. Usually when you are working on a 50-60 day shoot, you get only 4-5 days of those fulfiling feeling, but with Citadel it was every single day. The credit for it also goes to the entire team and I have told this to them time and again”
