Cancel Tejashwi Yadav’s Bail For Threatening Officers: CBI To Court
The CBI today moved a Delhi court seeking cancellation of bail granted to Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in the IRCTC scam case, for allegedly threatening some officers of the central probe agency.
The CBI contended before the court that Tejashwi Yadav had threatened the CBI officials while addressing a press conference, thereby influencing the case.
The court has issued a notice to Mr Yadav and sought his response to the CBI’s plea.
Addressing a press conference last month, Mr Yadav had said, “Do CBI officials not have a mother and children? Don’t they have a family? Will they always remain CBI officers? Will they not retire? Will only this party remain in power? What message do you want to send? You should honestly discharge the duty of the constitutional organization”
