Rohit Shetty‘s Cop Universe is all that anyone is talking about these days, especially with the highly anticipated ‘Singham Again‘ set to release this November. The director who flagged off his cop series with the Ajay Devgn starrer ‘Singham’, is now set to unleash the sequel that will also star Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor in lead roles.
Ahead of the highly anticipated trailer release, the filmmaker treated fans to a special glimpse of Ajay as the iconic ‘Bajirao Singham’ from the upcoming film.Shetty shared a heartfelt message about the film’s Diwali release, getting fans excited about the upcoming action. The video featured highlights from the entire cop universe, featuring clips from ‘Singham’, ‘Singham Returns’, ‘Simmba’, and ‘Sooryavanshi’, along with fan reactions.
In the background, Shetty can be heard saying, “Humne shuruaat Ki, aapne honsla badhaya, humne dil se mehnat ki, aapne gale se lagaya. Jab sab dare hue the, tab aapne hi saath diya, hamare iss universe ko apne hi parivaar banaya, aur tyohaar toh parivaar ke saath manaya jata Hai milte hai iss diwali. (We began, and you motivated us; we worked hard with all our heart, and you hugged us with appreciation. When the world was scared, you stood by us and made this universe into a family. Since festivals are celebrated with family, let’s meet this Diwali.)”
At the end of the video, fans get a sneak peek of Devgn reprising his iconic role as Bajirao Singham, making his long-awaited return to the big screen. Notably, viewers spotted a small patch of grey hair on his head, hinting at an all-new look for the character.
‘Singham Again’ also stars Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, and Akshay Kumar. It is slated for a release on Diwali, November 1, 2024.
